MWLKA General Event Rules

  • All attendees must be at least 21 years of age at the time of registration.

    • All attendees will be required to show a valid government-issued ID (such as a state-issued driver's license or ID card or a passport) to the registration staff before entering the event space.

    • All attendees must wear a MWLKA-issued lanyard any time they are in the event space.

    • Please be street legal at all times. Genital areas must remain covered.

  • Event attendees may take photographs with the following conditions:

    • Consent is given by the individuals in the photograph.

    • Everyone captured by the photo must consent to the picture being posted on any social media accounts.

    • The location setting must be turned off.

    • When in doubt, don’t post!

  • No “Outing”

    • Don’t “out” anyone as kinky, non-monogamous, Leather, or in an authority exchange relationship to their family, friends, co-workers, or anyone outside of our community.

    • Don’t use someone’s first/last name in person or online with others unless they give you specific permission to do so.

    • Don’t share anyone’s Personally Identifiable Information (PII), including photographs, in any form or format without their consent.

  • Use Your Words

    • If you would like someone to cease contact with you, please tell them either verbally or by direct message: “Please don’t contact me anymore.”

    • If you receive a message that an individual has revoked consent for contact, this applies to all forms of direct communication. Once you have revoked consent for contact, you should not initiate further contact yourself.
