The last reigning Kentucky Leather Pride Leatherboy 2020-2023 and the current reigning Mr. Cincinnati Leather 2024, boy Mayura is known for his bold, sex-positive classes like “Cis Gay Meets Vaginal Play: Lessons from a Trans Guy,” previously known as "Vaginal Sex for Gay Men.” A dedicated ONYX Great Lakes brother and former Road Captain, he blends service, education, and pleasure in everything he does. Offstage, he’s a father, husband, social worker, and future sex coach—bringing heart, heat, and healing to every space he enters.
Shay Raven is a queer, polyamorous leatherdyke born and raised in Minnesota. She brings decades of experience in kink, leather, and LGBTQIA+ community spaces, showing up with fierce authenticity, humor, and a deep love for chosen family.
She is a founding member of House of Raven, a leather family guided by the motto: “In the darkness, there is leather, loyalty, and love.” Shay is also a proud member of the Exiles of San Francisco, a group dedicated to education and empowerment in the kink and leather communities. In 2016, she was honored with the title Daddy of Montrose in Houston, Texas, where she deepened her dedication to mentorship, visibility, and service.
Whether teaching, mentoring, or offering a warm, Shay is committed to creating spaces where everyone feels seen, supported, and celebrated. As a contestant for Midwest Person of Leather, she stands ready to champion diverse voices with humor, heart, and passion.

James is a geeky kinky cub with a soft spot for bad boys and daddy bears. If there’s a fandom, most likely he’s a part of it! He started on the scene in 2017, helping a friend with his fantasy for Bluegrass Leather Pride, and has been helping where he can ever since, often participating in or leading fundraising efforts for charities such as St Jude’s Research Hospital, House of Ruth, and the Center for Women and Families. James identifies as a kitty in the pet play arena who enjoys scritches and belly rubs…just beware his claws! He’s an electro play and flogging switch who also likes to be tied up. Feel free to ask him about electro-flogging! It’s a shocking experience!
He is a member of the Titans of the Midwest, Kentucky Bourbon Bears, and Kentucky Pets and Handlers, and former board president for the Louisville Gay Men’s Chorus, and the former Louisville affiliate board member for the Kentucky Bourbon Bears. Two of his titles are Bluegrass Leather Pride Person of Leather 2019 and World Cub 2021.
When not on the scene, he likes to break out the vocal pipes as part of the tenor section of Voices of Kentuckiana, play horn with Kentuckiana Marching Pride, or just relax at home with his two bio-kitties, Isis and Persephone.
